I am a second-year MS(Research) student in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University, Ithaca. I am working under the guidance of Prof. Douglas MacMartin of the Climate Engineering Group, focusing on the use of Stratospheric Aerosol Injection (SAI) to engineer resilience against the adverse effects of anthropogenic global warming. I completed my undergraduate studies at IIT Bombay, India, in 2023, Majoring in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Mechanical Engineering.

My current research work looks into the impacts of SAI on regional climate systems like the Indian Monsoon. We are testing strategies to mitigate the risk of a significant shift in monsoon precipitation strength in the background of a warmer world.
