In this graduate course project, I examined the possibility of an increase in price spike events as the New York State grid transitions to renewable energy sources.

Accurately estimating the battery’s capacity (energy stored) is crucial for gaining a competitive edge in the Formula Student competition. In this project, we combined computer simulation results with the real-life expected performance of our drivers to estimate the energy required for our car.

Despite world class products in the market, Indians are hesitating to go electric. This is largely due to lack of good charging infrastructure in place. For an academic class in entrepreneurship, we designed a startup pitch to solve this problem.

In my first summer of undergrad, I led a student team in the Institute’s Technical Summer Projects. We designed and tested a driver-assistance system to help prevent accidents during a two-lane overtaking maneuver. The project received a special mention from the Institute Technical Council.
