Design of Parallel Configuration Battery Assembly for Formula Student Electric

This entry highlights my key contribution to IIT Bombay Racing, where I worked on evolving an existing single-series battery design into a parallel-cell configuration. Collaborating with M Danish, we achieved significant design results, notably reducing battery-pack heat generation (theoretical to 50% of the previous) and compacting the pack volume by nearly one-third. Apart from this, we manufactured, tested, and ran a previous year’s accumulator design at Formula Student UK 2022. We also won the Overall Event at FSEV Concept Challenge 2021.
